The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Center at Our Lady of the Assumption features just over 2,600 sq ft of both wet and dry labs. Implementation of our  1:1 iPad device program began in 2011 and in 2017 became a school wide program in grades K-8th. An iPad in the hand of all students has allowed teachers to explore opportunity for inquiry and engineering previously reserved for Junior High students only. In addition of textbooks, the iPad is the most common form of content delivery in the classroom using ebooks, web resources, references and applications pushed out by the teacher. The addition of our new STEM and science building will allow teachers and students to reach a whole new level of discovery.

The STEM Classroom will serve grades K-8 in core subjects like math, science, religion and art as well as specific STEM courses that integrate knowledge, project-learning and a team approach to solving real-world problems, making it a place where the students and teachers of OLA can expand  the S.T.R.E.A.M curriculum.
