Congratulations to Father Rogelio on the Anniversary of his Priesthood!!!
Monday – Mrs. Long begins the week with the 1st Glorious Mystery, the Resurrection. SLE of the Week is, “To be a Person of Faith and Compassion, grounded in Catholic teachings.” This is Mercy Week! The week we at OLA generally set aside to honor the Sisters of Mercy, the founders of our OLA School in 1958! Sr. Mary Frances Paula was our first Principal!
Tuesday – Miss Jenna leads the 2nd Glorious Mystery, the Ascension for Rosary this morning at 8:05. Fire inspection of the new preschool room at 9:00 this morning. You got this, Miss Candace!
Wednesday – Mrs. Houghton hosts Rosary this morning, the 3rd Glorious Mystery, the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles. There's a Parish staff meeting at 10am in the Hall.
Thursday – Happy October!! This is the month of the Rosary, so Miss Franco starts us off with the 4th Glorious Mystery, the Assumption of Mary!! How appropriate! First day of Preschool! Families will enter and exit through the sand area gate. The gate is open until 8:15 each morning. After that time, please enter through the school office door with the cross. Miss Candace and her Crew rule!!
Friday – Student Council leads Assembly today at 8:05! Student of the Week announced. Tonight is the Student Council Mass at 6:30 in the MMC backyard. Please join us if you are able.
Monday, October 5th – Mrs. Guereca leads Rosary with the 5th Glorious Mystery, the Crowning of Mary as Queen of Heaven. SLE of the Week is, “To be a Responsible Citizen.” Noon dismissal; faculty meeting at noon with Father Rogelio and Soon-to-be-Deacon Noel.
Notes: 1) October School Masses, 6:30pm in the MMC (Parish Office) backyard: Tues., Oct. 6th = Grades K-2; Weds.= 3-4; Th.= 5-6; Mass for Grades 7 & 8 = Tues., Oct. 13th. Don't forget your masks!
