Campus Ministry

Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School’s Campus Ministry is a vibrant and essential part of student life. Open to students in grades 3–8, members serve as altar servers, media ministers, choir members, and readers, playing a vital role in all liturgical celebrations, feast days, and school-hosted retreats. Campus Ministry fosters leadership in faith by catechizing not only students, but also parents and grandparents—spreading God’s Word and love throughout our community. Rooted in service, the ministry actively promotes the Corporal Works of Mercy, helping students live out their faith in meaningful and compassionate ways within our parish and beyond.

Why should we encourage our children to be altar servers?

“It is an important task that enables you to be particularly close to the Lord and to grow in true and profound friendship with him. Guard this friendship in your hearts jealously, like St Tarcisius, ready to commit yourselves, to fight and to give your lives so that Jesus may reach all peoples.” (Benedict XVI, August 4, 2010).
